The Coastal Netball Region (CNR) is one of 11 netball Regions in WA.
WHO WE ARE
Coastal Netball Region has been participating in WA Netball since the inception of the state league competition in 1989. The Region draws its membership from a large geographical area which encompasses the coastal strip of the metropolitan area bounded by the Swan River in the north, Pinjarra in the east and south through the Peel district
Coastal Netball Region incorporates Fremantle Netball Association, Rockingham Districts Netball Association, Mandurah Netball Association and Peel Netball Football League. Its current membership is in excess of 10000 members made up of senior players, junior players and non-playing members and the many volunteers that are so important to all sporting organisations.
Coastal Netball Region’s pathway delivers positive social outcomes through regular club based competitions at out Member Associations throughout the year and nurtures talented athletes progressing through our “Coastal Sharks” junior academy / cadets and pups programs. The “Coastal Sharks” League, Reserves and 18 & U teams enable the Region to provide opportunities for elite athletes to achieve excellence by participating in the Smarter than Smoking State Western Australian Netball (WANL) and beyond.
