WANL TRIAL INFORMATION
Trials for the 2018 Coastal Sharks WANL Teams will be held on the following dates.
DATE: TUES 13th FEB 2018 STATE NETBALL CENTRE
PHASE 1 - 18’s & U & Shark Net 6-8pm
DATE: TUES 20th FEB 2018 STATE NETBALL CENTRE
PHASE 2 - 18's & U & Shark Net 6-8pm
TRIAL - League & Reserves 6-8pm
- Attendance at all trials is compulsory
- Please arrive 30min prior to check in and warm up
- Only PLAIN white tops and dark shorts/skirts to be worn at trials. No club gear.
- An online registration form must be completed in order to be eligible to Trial.
The CLOSING DATES for online registrations are:
18's & Shark Net 4pm THURS 8th FEB 2018
League & Reserves 4pm THURS 8th FEB 2018
The Trial Fee is $20 and must be paid via EFT by the closing dates above

WANL PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
The WA Netball League (WANL) is an elite sporting competition which provides a pathway for Regions to compete and showcase their talented athletes. Coastal Netball Region competes in all divisions of the competition, League Reserves and 18's & U. (age eligibility for 18's & U is 15 by 31st Dec 2018)
Reserves Division - Age Restriction (26 & over)
The Reserves Division will allow for a maximum of 4 players over the age of 26 and over.
Athletes that are chosen to represent Coastal Sharks are primarily selected from Fremantle, Rockingham, Mandurah, Peel and Pinjarra Netball Associations.
The 2018 WANL competition will run from FRI 8th JUNE to 14th SEPTEMBER 2018 (fixtures TBC). Pre-season will commence in March on Tues & Thurs evenings. Match days will be a combination of Fri evenings, Sat and Sun.
It is compulsory to attend all Training Sessions and Match Days.
- Commitments for West Coast Fever, ANL, State Teams or Fever in Time have priority over the Region.
- The Region has priority over Association and Club participation.
Players are expected to attend the Coastal Sharks Day Camp, Season Launch, all Fundraisers and Social Functions, the Coastal Sharks Dinner and the Netball WA Dinner. (A training schedule including these days will be distributed at the start of pre-season).
Athletes must ensure that their NWA Affiliation $69 ($64 if U18) and Region Fee $15 has been paid their Club (i.e. Tingara) prior to participation in a WANL team.
(Athletes not participating in Club will pay affiliation direct to the Region. The Region will contact these athletes)
2018 WANL FEES
Once teams have been selected an invoice will be issued. PAYMENT FOR AFFILIATION, TEAM REGISTRATION, PLAYER FEES & FUNDRAISING LEVY WILL BE DUE 4pm THURS 17th MAY 2018. Players failing to meet this deadline will not be named on the bench until payment is received in full.

Region Fee $15
NWA Team Registration Fee $125
Coastal Sharks Player Fee $300
Fundraising Levy $100
Payments for the Coastal Dinner and NWA Dinner will be due in August once prices of events are confirmed. Participants fundraising levy will be credited against the event prices pending their full participation in fundraising events.

NWA Dinner (price tbc - based on 2017 prices) $165 - U18 guests $135

Sizing will be done at the start of pre-season training and we aim to have orders available for collection at the season launch. PAYMENT for uniforms must be received prior to collecting order. Limited items are available during the season.
Athletes or parents are asked to contact the Administrator to discuss a payment plan if required. If no request is made it will be assumed by the Committee of Management that you agreed to the terms listed above. Failure to meet the instalment deadlines may result in the player ineligible for selection until payment is received
2018 SHARK NET
(age eligibility 15 by 31st Dec 2018)
The Shark Net Program will run in conjunction with the 18's & U WANL Team program. The aim of the program is to extend the development of young Regional athletes through an intensive training program that will benefit both the individual athlete and the Region.
Athletes interested in the Shark Net Program from Fremantle, Rockingham, Mandurah, Pinjarra and Peel Netball Associations are invited to trial at the 18's & U Trials. To Register for Shark Net follow the links through the 18's & U online trial registration form at top of page.
Following Phase 2 trials a combined 18's and Shark Net squad will be announced
THE SHARKNET TRAINING schedule is still to be finalised - Please keep checking for information updates.
Shark Net players are expected to attend the Coastal Sharks Matches, Day Camp, Season Launch, all Fundraisers and Social Functions and the Coastal Sharks Dinner. (A training schedule including these days will be distributed at the start of pre-season).
Full participation is required from selected athletes and commitment to Coastal Sharks. Absentees must notify the Coach in writing via email.

2018 Shark Net Fees
